Clinique eye defining liquid liner REVIEW

Good afternoon :)
I know...this brand is not cruelty free :( but my boyfriend gave it to me due to I lost my revlon liquid liner in his home; I was beginning to love the revlon liner when suddenly I got lost...anyway, I wasn't going to say no to my BF's gift, so here I am giving you my review :)
Clinique eye defining liner

What I LOVE about this:
1.It's the perfect matte black..the revlon had a bit of vinyl finish, but this one is absolutely matte black and the pigmentation is very good.

2. I love this brush, it's not stiff, neither soft, it's flexible enough to allow me make a perfect winged look or a simple bold line. You may have trouble if you want to achieve a super fine line, in that case, better go for the physicians formula eye booster serum liner.

3. It has no parabens on the ingredients list.

4. It has a very good amount of product, 3.1g for a liquid liner is a lot! It may last up to 1 year or more even  though you use it every day, these kind of liquid liners are magical, they come in a small tube but they last so long! (sadly not in your eyes).

5. The clinique girl gave me a little gift, a small mascara (which is good) and free samples of the lotions and
cleanser.

Ingredients list

What I HATE (and you would hate):
1. It's not waterproof...it isn't even water resistant, revlon was a bit of water resistant but this thing it's NOT. If you cry, beware...you'll look like a raccoon. You better not using it if you're on "those" sensitive days.
2. It's PRICEY...$16.50 :/ I wouldn't mind giving my almost 17 box if this eyeliner would have been waterproof or water resistant... I'll have to invite my Bf to dinner :P
3. It takes like 5-10sec to dry, otherwise it would transfer. I don't recommend this for summer, rainy weather and extreme oily eyelids.
4. IT SMUDGES EASILY! aflter 4 hours I did notice that the corner of my winged line was fading and FLAKING off, leaving the skin near my eye full of dark flakes. I hate this.
5. The formula it's too liquid, sometimes hard to work with.

WATERPROOF TEST! and swatches.

 Please don't smudge...

Oh Lord...it did.

Would I buy it again? NO, never. Clinique has good products, but this thing was their worst invention. The only reason I'm keeping is because my Bf gave it to me, otherwise I would have already thrown it away.
Please leave your comment :)

Revlon colorstay liquid liner REVIEW

Hello my pretty ladies!, So I was planning to get myself a cheap liquid liner but then a saw again the almay softies and I grab the smoke one, I really liked the two I bought weeks ago (in my last review) so I'm here with another one :) First I'm gonna review the liquid liner and the the eyeshadow.

I love eyeliners...so I have always 3 kind of them, first I've got the PF shimmer strips which are 100% waterproof and smudge proof, long lasting colour and the shade black it's matte with a bit of shimmer and pure black, love them so much, but I also like to have a non-waterproof liquid liner because, sometimes I just want to take off my winged eyeliner very easily and also 'cause there are some days which I don't need my makeup to be waterproof. So, let's talk about the revlon one!
What I did like!
1. First of all, I don't like to expend a lot on a liquid liner that I know it won't be water resistant, so I decided for this revlon one, it's very cheap ($7.50) and it has the right amount of product that a I need, which is 2.5ml, that's more than enough for me.

2. I love matte eyeliners, and this one has no glossy finish at all, it's totally matte black and its pigmentation is truly black.

3. It was clear that this thing wouldn't resist too much on my lids, but for my surprise it did! after a long day, around 7pm I noticed that my winged eye line was still perfect and didn't smudge at all. Other girls may have extreme oily lids and it may fade a bit or transfer to your lower lash line, indeed I do have oily lids but I didn't noticed any sign of fading or smudging, I can assure you.

4. It removes easily with water and soap.

5.  Cry Proof-test: it may resist a little bit, and there's no need of touch ups; once again, I was surprised with the durability of this eyeliner. Remember, if you're going to cry a river then it made fade away.

6. For beign a drustore non-waterproof eyeliner, it's a very good bargain.

What I DIDN'T like:
There's only one thing I hate about this: I have to re-apply liquid liner over and over again so I can build up my winged look, that's because the felt tip of the brush is very very stiff and it doesn't allow me to create the angle I want for my winged look; another fact is that it seems that the stiff felt tip absorbs all the liquid and by the time you apply it, there will be only a few amount of product to make the first stroke.

Sorry about the notorious changes of colour in the pics, The light in my room is very tricky.

Fine lines made with the awful applicator.
After 9h wearing it, it did flake a bit in the middle.

The water-proof test is at the end :)

Would I buy it again? probably no because of the silly stiff applicator.

Almay softies: smoke
Almay softies smoke

The shades smoke and hot fudge have the same texture: creamy and soft and they are easy to apply with the finger in contrast to the texture of the creme brulée which is more powdery and harder. This shade (smoke) looks like hot fudge but they're totally different once applied into skin; the smoke shade is like a dark-gray colour with a little bit of shimmer and with purple undertones (you notice it once you apply it on your lid), quite interesting shade and I really like it, it's perfect for a slight smoky eyes look. Though it has an insignificant amount of shimmer this shade is more like a matte eyeshadow.
The on thing you'll hate: You have to sweep the brush (or your finger) over the eyeshadow at least 10 times so you can get a slight pigmentation...yep, the pigmentation is crap as I said in my last review of the almay softies, but anyway I don't mind it, I still like the slight color but I know many girls will hate this eyeshadow. Surprisely, these shadows are very water resistant.
Would I buy this shade again? YES, this one and the cremme brulee.

Here comes...the WATER-PROOF TEST!

Revlon liquid liner swatch blackest black

Here is the waterproof test for the liquid eyeliner and the almay softie eyeshadow. At first sight it seems that both, liquid liner and eyeshadow won't fade away, wait a bit...

The results after rubbing with water:
Revlon liquid liner fades easily but the almay eyeshadow remains clear.

Would I buy again Revlon colorstay liquid liner? MAYBE...I like the intensity of the black and it last very log without smudging.
Would I buy Almay softies in smoke? Nope.
