Revlon Colorburst in crimson. Lipstick review

Hello my gorgeous :) this is my favourite lipstick colour but unfortunately it's discontinued, so I'll have to find a dupe. This is the Revlon colorburts lipstick in colour crimson. It's like a intense matte red, highly pigmented and the formula es very creamy; but it has some disadvantages:
1. First of all It transfers sooo quickly! your teeth suffer the consequences (not so glamorous).
2. I has no taste and no smell. I like lipsticks with taste and smell.
3. It dries my lips a little bit so I always use a lipbalm first.
The good? Just the colour, I fell in love with this one because of the perfect red shade for me, it's amazing for fair/medium fair and medium light skin color.

Have you ever tried this lipstick? your comments are all welcome and keep always gorgeous :)

Estée Lauder translucent pressed powder review

Helloo :) I recently bought a compact powder because I've never tried one before, I usually don't wear neither foundation nor compact powders. But I decided to try a translucent powder being that it does not have much colour, so it'd give me a natural finish.

1. I chose the shade light/medium 02. It has 11.4g which I think It's enough for me, though it's a little expensive (about $30.00)
2. The sponge that comes with the powder it's nice and soft but after 20 uses it gets very dirty so you have to be washing it with a mild soap and warm water; otherwise you can use a powder brush.
3. The consistency of the powder is smooth and goes easily into your face.
4. These powders come in formulas for dry skin, combo and oily skin. I chose the one for normal to combo skin because in this windy weather my skin is getting a little dry, but with patches of oily zones (which would be a combo skin). After 1 month of using it, it hasn't affect the oilines of my skin so, I'm fine with it.
5. It does not clog pores and my face looks really matte.

I´d give it a 10, like it but still not an essential makeup for me, I'm more into blushes and liquid liners :) Have you tried this? please leave your comment! and keep gorgeous :)

Morning skin care routine: For oily-prone acne skin

Hello guys :) This is my skin care routine! and it's been working nice on me :) the pimples of my forehead are vanishing and the oiliness is getting controlled. I started like 1 month ago.

  1. What I first do is clean my skin with the neutrogena facial soap, I used to buy the acne prone skin facial soap (with the red label) but I don't find it any more :( anyway, the original formula (black label) is working good on me.
  2. Then I use the biore acne clearing scrub with 1% of salicylic acid, It really polishes your skin! I use it everyday 'cause it's a mild scrub. The tube contains 127g (which I think is not enough) and it cost me $7.55 I hate when good cleansers comes in few quantities.

  3. After drying my face gently with a clean towel (always use a clean towel) I pass over my face a cotton with 1ml of the clarifying lotion no.3 for oily skin.
  4. Finally, I use a sunblock which is specially for oily skin, comes in a gel formula and for dry skin comes in a creamy formula. I got this for $20 and it contains 50ml of product. I like it but as the time goes by...my skin starts looking shinny and greasy so I think I'll find another sunblock :/
  5. Tell me what's you skin care routine? :) I'll review soon my night time skin care routine. Have you tried this products? As for me, this routine is working pretty well :) my skin feels softer and without pimples, just need to work more in my oily T zone. Please leave your comment! :)

Maybelline baby lips & burt's bees lip balm

There's nothing like giving love to you lips with a natural and cute look :) I chose this shades of lip balms because of their delicate and fussy colour , I just loved them.

1. Maybelline baby lips. 4.4g for $2.50 each.

  • I choose the shade cherry me and peach kiss.
  • Cherry me is a light red tone and tastes so good, I wear it every day 'cause goes nice with my bold and black eyeliner look; I also use this balm as a primer when I'm about to use an intense red or crimson lipstick (like the one I'm going to review soon!).
  • Peach kiss is a more pale tone, alike the nude lipsticks that are in vogue; it also has a bit of shimmer. I use it with light smoky eyes or also to combine a pink lipstick so it'll give me a rose pale colour. The sad? they're not cruelty free :(

  • 2. Burt's bees Replenishing Lip balm. 4.25g for $3.50
  • I chose the one with the benefit of pomegranate oil. It tastes like naturist medicine but I don't mind 'cause is the only lip balm that heals my lips so fast and the moisture it gives me last hours and hours. It has no colour at all, though the balm looks red it doesn't tinge your lips and I like that 'cause it makes it the perfect primer for lips who won't affect the colour of the lipstick you're putting in. This is definitely my precious lip primer! and the good? It's cruelty free!! yeiii
Arrow: Cruelty free lip balm! A+ for this brand.

Have you tried them? please leave your comment! don't be shy :3

Lip gloss time! Liplicious & Smooch

1. LipLicious in Bing cherry from Bath and body works.
a) The gloss has a taste of cherry of course and the pigmentation is subtle on my lips, seems like a natural reddish colour with a bit of shimmer and I like that :)
b) The stickiness is moderate (the PF plumping one is very severe).
c) It contains 14mL of product for about $7.50. And It's cruelty free!
Arrow: Cruelty free lip gloss :)
Liplicious Bing Cherry lipgloss

2. Smooch Lip gloss by Aéropostale.
Trio colour!!! the first one is a brink pink, the second is true red and the last one is a reddish orange with shimmer. The pink and red ones are matte. I like very much the pink colour because it gives my lips an innocent and natural look; it has a slight taste and smell of strawberry ice-cream. The good thing? For 14mL of product you pay $4! that's awesome! and it's not sticky at all, that's a big plus, but I don't know if this brand does taste on animals :(

Physicians Formula lip plumping cocktail review.

Morning my beauties :)

1. physicians formula: Plumping cocktail (needle free lip)
More information: http://www.physiciansformula.com/en-us/productdetail/lips/lipgloss/02704.html
The tip of the brush is red 'cause I once grabbed a bit of red lipstick with it.

1. It claims to plump your lips so it looks like you've got a botox retouch; in my case, I didn't feel my tiny lips were getting fatter or plumper looking :'( it just seems on me like a normal lipgloss. shame...
2. It has a light smell of vanilla and tastes like vanilla wich for me is good.
3. After I had applied it, I felt in my lips a mentholated sensation and it was still after 30min. Nice!
4. IT DOES NOT irritate my lips at all. I've hear from my friends (who also bought this) that this gloss has caused inflammatory reactions on them, and theirs lips look swollen..not in a glamorous way. So if you're going to try it...PLEASE, Try it first on the back of your hand or put a little amount (0.2cc or less) of it on your bottom lip. If you feel (immediately or passed 5-10min) like aching or itching in your bottom lip or skin's hand, then DON'T USE IT! your health is first :)
5. The tiny brush allows me to define perfectly my tiny lip's shape and fill them evenly. Love it!
6. The color is in pink crystal potion, but I don't see any pink pigmentation on my lips, It's more like a translucent gloss with lot of shimmer but I like that!
7. It's pricey ($12.00) for only 3g of product :( I use it almost every day so it'll run out fast. I don't like that v_v
8. It's veeeery sticky, so if you don't like sticky glosses you'll hate this, but I'm just fine with it, I just tie my hair so it won't be sticking in my mouth.

My lips don't seem plumped, it's just like a normal lipgloss :/

RATE: (one to ten: 8.8) I did like it and I'd probably be buying it again, ONLY if there's on sale. I did not have any inflamatory reaction (considering that I'm sensitive skin) and I enjoy the mentholated feel on my lips. The color is perfect for me and so the staying power of the glossy effect.
Please let me know your comments!! did it work for you?  and...Keep gorgeous :)

PF Happy booster blush: thoughts after 1 year using it.

Bluushes I love them! and this one I bought it 9 months ago and it cost me $15.00 at Sears. It's physicians formula with their line Happy Booster; the color I chose is natural and it contains 7g of product (I think that's a lot for a blush..wich is good!).

The product seems wasted 'cause I use it almost everyday :)

1. The color is a very light pink with lot of shimmer.
2. It has a delicate scent of...roses? don't know how to describe it but smells veeery good (the packaging says that it's violet scent)
3. The staying power of the color is true! Last hours but it may fade away a little bit (juust a little) if you rub your cheeks.
4. Absolutely oily skin friendly.
5. The packaging is SO CUTE! though the brush that comes within it's very stiff. Feels harsh on my skin when I'm applying it on my cheeks, so I use instead the ecoTools blush brush.
RATE: (1 to 10: 9.4) I LOVE IT! I'd buy it again. Always Keep gorgeous :) and leave comments!
